This particular Betula albosinensis variant exhibits a slightly restrained growth compared to others, making it more manageable in compact spaces. It showcases the richest hue in its bark among the red birch varieties, displaying deep shades of chestnut with subtle undertones of creamy white.

Seldom grown commercially, but has become a favourite among designers we collaborate with. Its robust coppery bark stands out, especially when positioned alongside the contrasting white and intricate forms of two multi-stem jacquemontii or Greyswood Ghost.
