Pyrus calleryana ‘Autumn Blaze’ is a stunning deciduous tree that showcases a captivating display of colours throughout the seasons. It was selected in 1980 Oregon, USA for its excellent autumn colours and its profuse flowering.
During spring, the tree blossoms with small, fragrant white flowers which attract pollinators. Following the blooms, small brown fruits emerge on the tree. These last well into winter and are a great food source for birds.
The ‘Autumn Blaze’ cultivar is particularly renowned for its brilliant autumn foliage, which transitions through various shades of orange, red and purple. As the name suggests, this tree sets ablaze with vibrant hues, creating a breathtaking spectacle in any landscape.
