During your visit to our nurseries, you’ll notice that our trees are marked with coloured ribbons. These ribbons signify the tree size; girth for standard trees and height for multi-stems. Each ribbon is updated annually during our stocktake.
We’ve provided a downloadable guide below that you can save and print. It’s colour coded to match ribbon colours, helping you to specify your next projects requirements. For example, if you are seeking an 8-10cm girth, the tree you select will need to have a yellow ribbon.
The guide also gives dimensions for both containers and rootballs, along with an estimate quantity of trees of that size that can be accommodated on a lorry. We trust that you find this tool as useful as our sales team does.
