Raised on our nurseries, this Sorbus showcases remarkable vigour, ensuring swift establishment and rapid ascent to its ultimate height as a small tree. Its flowers form in panicles, followed by berries that undergo a striking transformation to a pale pink hue with a delicate white blush. The upright growth habit mirrors that of a Sorbus aucuparia ‘Cardinal Royal’ complemented by greenish-grey leaves. This variety is an excellent option for those seeking captivating berries without the patience required by some of the more traditionally slower-growing types.
It is a good substitute for Sorbus hupehensis, even though it is not a pure white colour.
